Intel has Announced its 11th-General processor line-up, known as Tiger Lake, as well as a new logo and jingle that replaces your well-known oh-famous.

Processors have integrated integrated GPUs built on Intel's new Xe graphics architecture that the company hopes will help it - and its OEM partners - compete in the Ultrabook market against growing competition from AMD's Raizen line and from the moment, it was recently announced that Will come in time. Stop using Intel processors in its Mac line-up in its own favor.

Tiger Lake has full support for Thunderbolt 4 compatibility, new PCI Gen 4 interface and Wi-Fi 6 standard integrated by USB-C. According to Intel, more than 150 designs covering Tiger Lake are in the pipeline from companies such as Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI, Razr and others.

It also hopes that the additional AA capabilities afforded by Tiger Lake will accelerate the platform over AMD, with new ambiguous features like Deep Learning Boost and Open Vino that are difficult to unpack at first glance, but no doubt on the platform. OEMs and developers by the company to better streamline AI performance.

Unveiled alongside Tiger Lake was the Intel Evo, which the platform company will use to differentiate premium, thin laptops, which come under the less marketable project Athena label.

The project Athena was launched last year and is Intel’s umbrella for a slim, high-end notebook that wakes up instantly, has an all-day battery, is always connected, and feels good to boot. It is also being used for folding PCs.

In an effort to bring Intel's mobile PC future to regular customers, Josh Newman, Intel VP of Client Computing Group, said in a media call, "Intel Evo is a customer-name that meets all laptop requirements with a new (literal) sticker." . Project Athena's program. It’s like Intel Inside for 2020.

In particular, Intel Fellow Tom Petersen from Evo said that Tiger Lake "shows a doubling of performance in general with almost the same power budget and almost the same area of the previous payday." If this is true it would be a significant benefit to the 10th-generation Ice Lake Generation.

If Tiger Lake's clock speed goes any further, it looks like Intel has put money where its mouth is. The base block speed of the flagship four-core eight-thread Core i7-1185G7 is 3.0GHz and the single-core turbo speed is 4.8GHz. Base clock speeds and single-core turbo speeds are higher for all Tiger Lake ranges compared to Ice Lake equivalents.

Intel also claims that Tiger Like is 7.7 times faster than competing products for video editing, while adding an hour's battery to the top of what can be achieved for a laptop in an iceberg. The new series boils down to nine Tiger Lake processors for notebooks, the X specs of which include new Xe integrated GPUs.

The Xe units have branding reserved for the performance benefits introduced, but Intel said lower-end Core i3 processors without the Xe are based on architectures such as the Xe-toting i5 and i7 CPUs.

Intel is banking on its new superfin transistor tech that is packed into its Tiger Lake range to take the fight to AMD. We'll have to wait until we can get our hands on the Tiger Lake-toting laptop, before we know if we've achieved our goal.
